How long does a repair usually take?
Most common repairs — phone screens, batteries, charging ports — are done the same day. Laptop and console work depends on the fault and whether a part needs ordering; we'll give you a realistic timeline when we quote you, and we call as soon as it's ready.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in any time during store hours, Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM. If you'd like a ballpark price before you drive over, send us the details through the quote form or call the shop.
Is the diagnostic really free?
Yes. We'll look at your device, identify the fault and quote you at no charge. If you decide not to go ahead with the repair, you owe us nothing and you take your device home.
Will I lose my data?
Most repairs — screens, batteries, ports — don't touch your data at all. Some jobs, like a failed drive or an OS reinstall, carry real risk, and we'll tell you clearly before starting. We always recommend backing up anything irreplaceable before you drop a device off.
Do you use genuine parts, and is the work warrantied?
We use authentic components, and every repair is backed by a warranty. Ask us at the counter for the specific coverage on your repair — it varies a little by part and device.
Can you help with a Rogers, Fido or Chatr plan?
We're an authorized dealer for all three. We can set up a new activation, move your existing number over, change your plan or swap a SIM — in person, without a phone queue.
My device won't turn on at all. Is it worth bringing in?
Almost always, yes. A dead device is often a charging port, a battery or a power circuit rather than a write-off — and the diagnostic costs you nothing to find out. If it genuinely isn't worth repairing, we'll tell you that instead of selling you a repair.
